Rules and Regulations of the Swimming Pool at the Elementary School with Sports Branches No. 5 named after the Polish Olympians in Cracow.
§1
- The swimming pool is an integral facility of the Primary School with Sports Branches No. 5 named after the Polish Olympians located at the address: 30-079 Kraków, al. Kijowska 8.
- The facility is managed by the Director of SP No. 5, performing tasks through employees authorized to give instructions to users of the facility.
- The swimming pool includes a building located on the school grounds on the side of Chocimska Street and includes, among other things, a swimming pool basin, grandstands, catering area, locker rooms, showers, communication space, sports hall, judo room with gym and conference rooms. The swimming pool has additional attractions in the form of a Jacuzzi, dry sauna, wet sauna and salt cave.
- The rules of operation of the swimming pool and the rights and obligations of those who use it are governed by these Regulations.
- Detailed rules for the use of individual parts and facilities of the facility are regulated by the rules and regulations of the positions, placed near them. Any person using additional equipment such as a salt cave, jacuzzi or sauna is obliged to become familiar with the provisions of these regulations and comply with their provisions.
- The results of current water quality tests are posted at the entrance to the swimming pool.
- Before entering the swimming pool area, read the rules and regulations and comply with their provisions.
§2
- The facility is open Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 9:15 p.m. and Saturday from 7:15 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- The maximum number of people in the water at one time must not exceed 50 people. The director of SP No. 5 reserves the right to refuse entry to persons exceeding this limit. For the purpose of rental, the number of 8 people per track is assumed.
- Persons residing on the premises and violating public order, posing a threat to other persons residing in the facility, as well as persons disobeying the provisions of these regulations and the recommendations of order services or employees will be removed from the premises without the right to a refund of previously paid fees, regardless of possible criminal and civil proceedings.
- The lifeguard on duty at the swimming pool exercises general supervision over the observance of these regulations. All persons in the swimming pool are obliged to obey the orders of the lifeguard on duty.
- Admission to the swimming pool hall takes place on the basis of a transponder of the "Electronic Customer Service System", which is obtained after purchasing a service in accordance with the price list of services in force at the swimming pool. The transponder authorizes the use of all equipment in the swimming pool facility and is subject to settlement and return upon leaving the swimming pool. If the transponder is not returned, lost or damaged, the person making the reservation (guardian) undertakes to bear the cost of purchasing a new one at the price of PLN 100.
- Receipt of the transponder means that the user agrees to comply with all rules and regulations and other orders issued to ensure security at the facility.
- The time of stay in the pool is counted from the moment of activation of the transponder (passing through the gate) until its memory is read when paying the fee.
- Full payment for the use of the facilities and for any extended time on the premises must be paid at the time of leaving the facility.
- For unused entrance tickets and in case of expulsion of the user from the facility, the fees paid will not be refunded.
- Reimbursement of costs incurred is possible only if the facility is unavailable due to the fault of the school.
- The transponders are not used by students of SP No. 5 participating in sports activities under the supervision of school teachers. The School Director may also decide to exclude other organized groups from the use of transponders.
§3
- Classes at the swimming pool are held in groups according to a fixed schedule and individually.
- In the case of individual entries, children under 13 years of age may be in the swimming pool only under the constant supervision of adults, who bear full responsibility for the children entrusted to their care and are responsible for their safety and any damage caused by them throughout their stay in the entire facility. The guardian pays for the stay at the swimming pool according to the applicable price list. A maximum of three children aged 4 - 13 years may be under the care of one guardian.
- It is forbidden to leave children who cannot swim in the pool hall unsupervised.
- The pool is not available for children under 3 years of age.
- Organized groups must have at least one instructor per 15 participants over the age of 7, who is responsible for the safety of these people and any damage caused by them throughout their stay in the entire facility. In the case of children under 7 years of age, it must be 1 chaperone per a maximum of 10 people.
- Swimming lessons, swimming improvement classes can be conducted only by swimming instructors and in the presence of lifeguards. It is forbidden to conduct swimming lessons by persons who are not authorized and without obtaining permission from the School Directorate.
§4
- Persons using the swimming pool are obliged to wear only clean swimwear, meeting hygienic and aesthetic requirements, without zippers or other metal or plastic inserts that may pose a threat to the health or safety of the user, as well as cause damage to the elements of swimming pool equipment:
- For women, a one-piece or two-piece, clinging to the body,
- For men's swimwear clinging to the body,
- mandatory swimming cap.
- The change of clothes to pool attire is carried out in the appropriate locker room.
- A change of footwear is mandatory in the lobby of the reception (ticket office), in front of the gate. Pool shoes should be left in the locker room, and then walk barefoot to the pool basin.
- After completing swimming and changing clothes, the change of footwear from pool shoes to outdoor shoes takes place after leaving the locker room in the reception hall (checkout).
- Before leaving the locker room for the swimming pool area, check that the locker has been closed. The swimming pool management is not responsible for money and valuables left in lockers that are open or improperly closed.
- Each person is required to wash under the shower before entering the water (including after using the toilet) and to go to the pool hall through the paddling pool with disinfectant.
- Users are required to:
- Punctual start and end of classes,
- Maintenance of the facility's cleanliness,
- securing valuable property on its own,
- Compliance with health and safety, fire and order regulations,
- to obey the instructions of the Director or School Employees with special attention to lifeguards.
- Safety and compliance with the Regulations are the responsibility of the representative or guardians of the group, those who conduct activities and the organizers of competitions, sports and other events.
- It is prohibited to bring into the premises and facilities of the school, including the swimming pool:
- All kinds of dangerous objects, explosives, pyrotechnic products, materials threatening fire,
- narcotics,
- alcoholic beverages.
- It is strictly prohibited on the premises:
- alcohol consumption,
- Smoking, use of intoxicants, use of e-cigarettes,
- Admission of persons in a state indicating the consumption of alcohol or intoxicants of any kind,
- Use of open flames,
- introduction of animals,
- photography and filming,
- Bringing in glass, metal bidons and other glass items.
- In the area of the pool hall it is forbidden:
- running around bypasses, accesses, walls and pushing other users into the water,
- wearing objects and ornaments that may expose swimmers to danger,
- jumping from parts of the facility's structure,
- Using rescue equipment for other purposes than it is intended,
- consumption of food items,
- throwing food scraps and any foreign objects into the water,
- destroying equipment,
- pool water contamination,
- Jumps into the water - they can only take place with the permission of lifeguards and only in designated lanes,
- Use of mobile equipment without the consent of lifeguards or staff,
- use of cell phones and other equipment that records video or sound in the changing rooms, showers and pool hall,
- Bringing in music and playing equipment,
- leaving pool flip-flops in communication and pool overflow areas
- Swimming under the influence of alcohol and intoxicants.
- Any lifeguard-approved jumps into the water are supervised by the instructor in charge of the class. In the case of individuals, the possibility and track of jumping should be agreed each time with the lifeguard.
- It is forbidden for persons to use the pool hall:
- With medical contraindications,
- Those suffering from medical conditions that may be dangerous to other users,
- With open wounds and inflammation of the skin, patches and bandages on the body,
- whose hygiene status deviates from generally accepted standards,
- with imbalances,
- With aggressive behavior,
- whose behavior indicates being under the influence or other drugs and intoxicants,
- use costumes and items that are visibly soiled or that may react chemically with water.
- Persons are not allowed to enter the water against the prohibition of lifeguards, in the absence of a lifeguard service on duty, and during rescue operations.
- People with unstable health conditions should use the swimming pool with special caution (or after medical consultation). In particular, this applies to the use of the sauna and jacuzzi. The swimming pool management is not responsible for the health consequences of the stay in the pool of such persons.
- Persons with disabilities and those in wheelchairs are required to declare their intention to use the pool at the swimming pool ticket office. These persons in the pool hall shall use only the wheelchair that is on the swimming pool equipment.
- All cuts, injuries and irregularities also in the operation of equipment should be reported immediately to the lifeguard.
- Wearing glasses and contact lenses is at the user's own risk. If you are in the pool hall wearing corrective glasses, these glasses must be fixed in a way that prevents them from falling off.
- The use of dryers and other electrical equipment can only be done in the dry area of the facility.
§5
- The following zones are designated at the swimming pool, to which, after taking into account your skills, you should adjust your own activity plans:
- zone for non-swimmers - lanes 1,2,3 with a movable bottom - depth presented on the display and invariable throughout the class,
- zone for those who can swim - lanes 4,5,6 - with a depth of 3m to 3.60m.
- The depth of the water in the moving part of the pool is indicated on displays located on both sides of the pool basin.
- The following sound signaling is established:
- a series of several sounds lasting about 1 second (whistle) - the start of the rescue operation, participants of organized classes and individuals using the swimming pool should immediately get out of the water and remain on the beach around the swimming pool basin in places that do not impede the actions of lifeguards,
- A long beep - the end of the class - immediately exit the water,
- A short beep - an order to pay attention to the announcements of the lifeguard and swimming pool staff.
§6
- In the event of a small turnout, the water jacuzzi is turned on at the customer's request.
- The maximum number of people using the Jacuzzi 6 people.
- The salt grotto and saunas are launched after prior telephone reservation min. 60 min. in advance before the scheduled seance at specified times.
- For damage, loss of items of equipment of the swimming pool and the facility, there is a charge of 100% of the value of the damage.
- Bringing and using one's own sports and recreational equipment on the premises may be done only after obtaining permission from the facility management or lifeguard.
- Items found on the premises should be handed over to the staff. Staff will release found items after the owner identifies them within two weeks from the date they were left behind.
- All commercial activities inside the facility, club events, sports and other group events, are possible only with the knowledge and consent of the facility management.
- The SP No. 5 is not responsible for belongings, money and items left unattended, in open lockers, improperly closed lockers and outside lockers.
- For damage to elements of the facility's equipment, as well as for the destruction, damage or loss of items provided for use, there is a charge for the full value of the damage.
- Parents or their guardians are responsible for damages caused by minors.
- SP No. 5 is not responsible for items lost on the premises or lost due to theft.
- SP No. 5 is not responsible for accidents caused by non-compliance with these rules and regulations, instructions for use of water attractions and instructions of the staff.
- Ignorance of the rules and regulations and station instructions does not absolve the responsibility for improper use of the swimming pool and its facilities, and SP No. 5 is not responsible for the negative consequences of this.
§7
- On the school grounds, including the swimming pool, there is a video surveillance system with a record of camera recordings, which may be the basis for holding accountable users who do not comply with the rules and instructions. The manager declares that the monitoring is carried out in a manner that does not endanger the personal rights and dignity of swimming pool users, and the recordings are properly secured and archived.
- Persons or institutions using the facility consent to the processing of personal data, including image. Being on the premises of the school's facilities is tantamount to having one's image recorded by video surveillance.
- The administrator, i.e. the entity that decides how the personal data will be used, is the Elementary School with Sporting Branches No. 5 named after the Polish Olympians, located at 8 Kijowska Avenue, 30-079 Krakow. Personal data will be processed in order to provide the services provided by the School and, in the case of an image, to ensure the safety of students and employees and to protect property.

§8
- Blatant violations of the regulations may result in exclusion from admission to the swimming pool.
- In matters not covered by these regulations, the general regulations and the Head of School shall decide.
- The regulations come into force on April 2, 2024.
